To Whom it May Concern

For the past year, we have had the privilege of working with the Liberty Hill Improvement Council in their efforts to address the literacy needs of our children. The planning process has been labor intensive, but so exciting because of the anticipated outcome. We recognize the need to have partnerships with community agencies for the reinforcement of the educational strategies of the Charleston County School District.

We welcome this cooperative initiative that will probably serve as a model for other community organizations in the future. Liberty Hill Improvement Council has the goal of seeing that our children read on grade level or above. This type of support will benefit the entire community as well as the individual student.

We look forward to the implementation of this after school intervention strategy. We will work together because they are all our children.
